The Newave longboard is the perfect combination of style and stability. It offers the surfer the ability to move forward towards the nose while maintaining excellent maneuverability in turns.
Thanks to the Newave binding system, you can store your longboard in a suitable backpack, take it anywhere, and assemble it in less than 1 minute on the beach.
The longboard is designed for intermediate to advanced surfers and perfect for waves up to 1m50.
Newave planks are manufactured from 36kg/m3 EPS foam, fiberglass and epoxy resin.
The Newave fastening system is made from PA12, a high-performance polyamide specially designed for applications requiring excellent mechanical strength. It is a material similar to nylon, used for fishing nets in particular.
Fiber patches ensure bonding and stress transmission between the various board components.
The boards are solid, durable and accompany the surfer on every surf trip!

Between style and stability, the Newave longboard offers the surfer the possibility of advancing towards the nose while maintaining excellent maneuverability in turns. With its low rocker, it easily gains speed at the oar. Thanks to its boxy rails, V-shaped concave and fine pin tail, it grips well in deeper waves while offering great ease of direction change.

Starting with the 9′ longboard, you can complete your quiver by purchasing a fish tail or the nose of the mini-malibu:

To begin with, our boards are intrinsically environmentally friendly, since they allow you to choose more virtuous means of transport: 1000km by car avoided and the board is carbon neutral!
Secondly, we have thought through our design to reduce the carbon impact of manufacturing as much as possible. Unlike most boards, our process ensures there’s no waste. We use molded polystyrene foam blocks: no superfluous material is produced, which is not the case with most boards, which are machined from a block.
When you order your board, you’ll receive a backpack compatible with all Newave boards. All Newave surfboards are compatible with the
backpack. You can put your board, wetsuit and all your small belongings in it.
Once the side straps are tightened, everything is compacted and nothing moves, preventing damage to the board during transport.
With your backpack, you also get several dividers to prevent friction between the different pieces of your board.
Our Newave dismountable boards have won over a diverse community of surfers at all levels. Since summer 2023, these boards have been put to the test on various waves, proving their performance and robustness.
