How to build a quiver with Newave takedown boards?
One of the great advantages of Newave boards is their modularity. Thanks to our "W" binding system, one piece can be combined with another to create a new shape adapted to different conditions.
Let's imagine you start with a Mini Malibu 7'6 to progress in small waves. By simply adding a longboard-style tail, you get an 8'2" Egg board that's faster to paddle, perfect for lighter days. Then, by replacing the nose with that of a Longboard 9'0, you gain even more stability and fluidity in your turns and you can also reach the nose of your board with cross steps.
With 7 pieces, it is possible to create up to 9 different boards. The Newave system allows you to adapt your surfing to the evolution of your level, your preferences, or the conditions of the day — all without multiplying your boards.

The Lazy Fish 5'10'' is a lightweight and versatile model, perfectly suited to intermediate to experienced surfers looking for a maneuverable and easy-to-carry board for summer sessions.

ALL ROUND FISH 6'6
There 6'6 Newave is a generous shortboard, designed for intermediate to advanced surfers looking for a versatile board, comfortable to paddle and performs well in varied conditions.
With its 42L volume and wide outline, it offers excellent accessibility without sacrificing maneuverability.
Its balanced shape allows for good responsiveness in maneuvers while maintaining stability in softer sections.

Indeed, the round tail offers excellent maneuverability in turns and the ability to carve generous curves. If you own a longboard, all you have to do is... buy a tail to completely transform your board! The front of the longboard offers more length.
It allows for better paddling speed and a smooth glide! And if you own a mini Malibu, you can then easily buy a nose to adapt your equipment to the small waves of certain weeks of the summer!
