Our boards are ultra-strong!

After two years of R&D and dozens of prototypes driven by one obsession: creating a modular board without compromise. Connection system, modularity, manufacturing, weight: every detail has been considered and retested. The result? A board validated by a stress test of over 300 kg at Cobra, a leading surf manufacturer, meeting the same resistance criteria as a classic board.

They all tried our boards

Our Newave takedown surfboards have won over a diverse community of surfers of all skill levels. Since the summer of 2023, these boards have been put to the test on various waves, proving their performance and durability.

newave modular design

Designed to combine performance and mobility, our technology is based on a high-density EPS core vacuum-laminated with ultra-resistant epoxy resin and fiberglass reinforcement patches.

This process guarantees the rigidity of a traditional composite while allowing for total modularity. To ensure perfect consistency during assembly, the width and thickness remain rigorously constant throughout the junction area. Once the board is secured by its locking pins, the injected nylon connectors preserve the original flex and rocker for a fluid and precise glide.

Technical specifications:

  • Dimensions: 6'6 - 22" 5/8 x 2" 3/4
  • Weight: 4.6 kg

Newave is the story of Ewen and Hadrien, two surfers accustomed to surf trips around the world. As they traveled, a reality became clear: transporting a surfboard by train or plane had become prohibitively expensive, stressful, and inconvenient.

Renting on-site wasn't always a reliable option. Between shop hours and the lack of equipment suitable for the conditions, they decided to design the ideal solution. A high-performance board, with no compromise on glide, capable of accompanying them absolutely everywhere.
